You can't go very far in the Houston Street area without seeing some of these. I have taken many shots of them; I call this particular image Cat In The Hat Cones, for obvious reasons. There is also a smaller, more pointed, solid orange cone as well, but these beaten up brutes are my favorites, I suppose they have a scary story or two to tell.

Scary stories with a lot of cussing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying these photos.
your cat in the hat cones are great, what an exe catching colorful photo they make. That would make a fabulous framed picture in a room that needed a bit of color in it! I can just imagine it. As I so often say, what a talent you have for taking the ordinary and capturing it just right on film.
ReplyDeleteOh these are new to me - we have the orange pointed cones over here although they usually also have a white stripe or two on them - and yes Debby from the Pink Bird House is right - fabulous framed picture! Hugs to you Maureen, Vxx
