Across the West Side Highway from pier 54 is this scene of the Meat Packing District. There's the High Line, note the two different metal work sections, the plainer is probably repairs. Lots of architectural eras are represented, with some contemporary graffiti and a couple stinky delivery trucks. By the way, you could walk through this area with your eyes shut and know where you were because of that smell.

  1. Hi Maureen,

Thank you so much for taking the time to vote for us at "The Great Driving Challenge' contest. Appreciate your support.

This is a multi-level competition and votes matter a lot to get into the Top 100, which is the first goal.

I will keep you posted on the progress we make in this contest, thank you once again.

    Regards,
    Thomas

  2. Well I am glad that blogger does not come with a sense of smell other wise I would be smelling that picture right now and not seeing it. Good shot! And I noticed that the name on the side of the building seems very Dutch! Probably is. I hope all is well with you. Sorry that I have not been around lately. Have not forgotten you, just having a hard time keeping up with one and all at this time of year. End of school over here so the squeeze of exams for the kids to study for and me helping cram, plus our campground in full swing, etc. etc. Well enough excuses. :-) Just needed to let you know I still enjoy visiting and seeing what new fabulous photos you have posted!! Take care, Debby
