I haven't been on this blog in years, I started a whole new life in Provincetown MA and am very happy here. I do though, birds these days, which I see as kin to angels. Using glazes of saturated color and gilded backgrounds give them the aura of medieval icons. Wise, alert, often provocative, talismans and avatars; they are still archetypal messengers and guardians. They exist in the borderland between mystery and fantasy — as do my mixed media pieces on wood, which also contain birds in their innate if elusive narrative.

With them in mind, I have created a new website and hope you will join me there, I think you will like it!

I'm back with a new blog called Donegal Chronicles Redux to address my now living and writing in Provincetown. It's linked to the writing blog from when I was in New York, but it feels right to keep them separate since things are so different and I'm on to another novel anyhow. Please join me by clicking the link, I'd love to connect again and see you there.
