One last shot of the FDNY boat while was docked, love the red deck.

Thursday, April 29, 2010

Same boat a half hour later, making good use of those water canons.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010

More of the FDNY boat from yesterday, it has lots of water canons.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

New York Fire Department boat, hanging next to our friend the Lilac.

Monday, April 26, 2010

We seem to be in monsoon season, so batten down the hatches, matie.

Sunday, April 25, 2010

Poured all day here in New York, but it did this at sunset on Thursday.

Saturday, April 24, 2010

Another shot taken of yesterday's approaching storm, a little earlier.

Friday, April 23, 2010

Color picture, yesterday, as a storm blew over the choppy water.

Thursday, April 22, 2010

Big fire in Jersey, that's at least a mile away, but makes a nice photo.

Wednesday, April 21, 2010

This lion head is in front of the building with the broken window.

Tuesday, April 20, 2010

Another shot from the block of the broken window, love these guys.

Monday, April 19, 2010

Broken window over by the river, somehow I just love this image.

Sunday, April 18, 2010

Haven't seen as many geese yet this year, but there are a lot of ducks.

Saturday, April 17, 2010

Same pier, different day, here's what the sky looked like today.

Friday, April 16, 2010

Close up of whatever these are, behind the sculptures from yesterday's post. I've only seen them at this particular pier, and at a very low tide.

Thursday, April 15, 2010

I was sorry to see that so many of these sculptures did not survive this winter. The top shot's current, the bottom was two years ago. You can see one floating on its side but it's the pier posts that have fallen down.

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

Familiar scene with the same screaming blue sky and rolling waves.

Tuesday, April 13, 2010

Same day and same pier as the one with the gull yesterday, that's the latest tiresome Trump project in the background, finally finished now.

Monday, April 12, 2010

This gull followed me while I was on the pier taking pictures that day, he got a lot closer than this but would not sit still for the camera. And yes, the sky was that blue, it happens, occasionally, here in New York.

Sunday, April 11, 2010

Another images from 2 weeks ago, and since everything else in this garden is having a party, I am assuming this have bloomed as well.

Saturday, April 10, 2010

Two weeks ago I went out with my camera and took some shots that I forgot about because I was still posting pictures of Beacon. This next week or so we'll be in early spring, more appropriate for this time of year instead of the recent heat wave we have been having. These tulip buds already popped and fell off when I walked by this tree yesterday.

Friday, April 9, 2010

More cherry blossoms, they'll be gone tomorrow since it's turned cold.

Thursday, April 8, 2010

Seriously, these weren't here Monday and it's been in the 80's all week.

Wednesday, April 7, 2010

You may recognize this since I've posted it before, but I'm using it for the header image of my new blog Donegal Chronicles which will be about the novel I just finished and the new one I am working on now. Keeping it separate, different process, hope you'll be joining me there.

Tuesday, April 6, 2010

They're back, just like white trees, these scenes are everywhere here.

Monday, April 5, 2010

Here's my old friend Lilac again, Houston St pier, must be spring.

Sunday, April 4, 2010

Interesting response to the images I posted yesterday for you guys to vote on. I also send them out in emails and posted them on Facebook, and the people who liked the second one are painters, everybody else liked the moon. Here is a third option, I'm actually leaning towards this shot at the moment, anybody out there care to change their vote?

Saturday, April 3, 2010

I've written a novel I'll self-publish if I don't find an agent soon. These are two of my photos that I'm considering for the cover. The story is a police drama and the main character once did time in Bayview, a jail for women, which is the building with the blue cage on the roof below. The question is, which image do you prefer because I am taking votes.

Friday, April 2, 2010

It's that time in New York again, and you'll see this all over the place.

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Sun's out again in New York, feeling bad for Rhode Island though.
