The Smash Box counter in the Plaza makeup department, did damage there! Just got the most perfect eye shadow called Rapture from them.
This is one of the spots upstairs where I go to eat my lunch since I hate the staff room and need the privacy to work on the novel I'm writing.
Next to Eloise, the favored gift for kids are these bears in Plaza robes like the ones for humans which we have from toddler to XXL for men.
The Eloise doll from yesterday is the standard size, these two however are about as tall as a three year old and that pink cap can even fit me.
Eloise! X three! Is this a good time for an insider's tour of the Plaza?
Hope You All Have A Great Holiday!
Some of the characters from the image of two days ago but from a different year. I happen to love this picture for all sorts of reasons.
King and camel, odd focus. Needing a new camera. Suggestions?
Here's the shepherd who was with the cow earlier from another year.
Mary again, because she's so pretty. I love that people think the Baby Jesus has been stolen when he's not there since it's not Christmas yet.
Another the snarky creche sheep, this one looks like it's up to no good.
One of several snarky sheep in the creche, this one is the most benign.
Same angel as yesterday, different angle, with a friend. Pretty as well.
On an angel roll, almost used this for my Christmas card last year.
Same angel as yesterday but now from the side, still beautiful I think.
Let's get to the creche angels, shall we? I'll post on my other blog too.
I love these sheep, it doesn't matter how this creche is arranged, it is different each year, the lamb on the left always catches my attention.
And every creche has to have the three wise men, here's one of them.
A creche scene takes place in the manger. Of course there is a donkey.
Creche shepherd presenting chickens to Mary with cow as witness.
There's a Catholic church across the street that puts up a creche,
and for the next few weeks, I'll be posting images of them. Tis the season.
Ah, why not, let's just have even more roses in December, shall we?
"God gave us a memory that we might have roses in December." James M. Barrie
Again, a familiar scene, looking downtown to the Houston Street Pier.
Another familiar scene - just another gorgeous Hudson River sunset.
Took a couple days off, started a Christmas job at the Plaza Hotel gift shop selling Eloise dolls and bathrobes. Fun but tired. Anyone jealous?
