Same pier, different day, here's what the sky looked like today.

Close up of whatever these are, behind the sculptures from yesterday's post. I've only seen them at this particular pier, and at a very low tide.

I was sorry to see that so many of these sculptures did not survive this winter. The top shot's current, the bottom was two years ago. You can see one floating on its side but it's the pier posts that have fallen down.

This gull followed me while I was on the pier taking pictures that day, he got a lot closer than this but would not sit still for the camera. And yes, the sky was that blue, it happens, occasionally, here in New York.

Another images from 2 weeks ago, and since everything else in this garden is having a party, I am assuming this have bloomed as well.

Two weeks ago I went out with my camera and took some shots that I forgot about because I was still posting pictures of Beacon. This next week or so we'll be in early spring, more appropriate for this time of year instead of the recent heat wave we have been having. These tulip buds already popped and fell off when I walked by this tree yesterday.

More cherry blossoms, they'll be gone tomorrow since it's turned cold.

Interesting response to the images I posted yesterday for you guys to vote on. I also send them out in emails and posted them on Facebook, and the people who liked the second one are painters, everybody else liked the moon. Here is a third option, I'm actually leaning towards this shot at the moment, anybody out there care to change their vote?

I've written a novel I'll self-publish if I don't find an agent soon. These are two of my photos that I'm considering for the cover. The story is a police drama and the main character once did time in Bayview, a jail for women, which is the building with the blue cage on the roof below. The question is, which image do you prefer because I am taking votes.
