After you come through the entry, this is the sitting area of the lobby.

When you walk in to the Plaza from Fifth Avenue, this is the entrance, but not the lobby. Later for that, nor is it the original entrance, that is on 59th (AKA Central Park South), I will be showing you that as well.

The spectacular Palm Court which was once THE place in New York to have tea, but is currently closed because, of all things, union issues. And glowing in the background is the Terrace Room from previous posts although those french doors to it are not usually open like that.

More Plaza, this is the Terrace Room, which opens up off of the Palm Court, and many weddings and celebrity events happened here. A Liz Taylor (in her chinchilla hat) and Richard Burton interview, and one with Marilyn Monroe during which her dress strap notoriously broke.

Was in Chelsea today and walked by the river, still looks a lot like this.

A favorite, this was when I knew I might be good at photography.

So not only is the camera acting up, I went to do some work on my art website and it was gone. Jupiter in Pisces is supposed to be beneficial.

I know, a little late, we were on the Plaza tour when the figure of the Baby Jesus arrived at the creche, but I wanted to complete the series.

Okay, enough of the Plaza for the moment, let's get back to the river!

Blurry, the guy would not hold still. I refer to him as Moby since he is over a foot long. He has a companion almost as big, they dominate the pool and pictures. And yes, they stick their heads way out of the water and will bite you if you're foolish enough to put you finger near them.

You can see the back of the escalator reflected in this among the fish.

Yes, I know, it's a blur, but I really like it because it's a beautiful blur.

The base of the escalator has a fish pond wrapped around it. Couldn't decide which picture to use, so I'll post them all over the next few days.
