These would be great for Halloween!! They are certainly the classic tombstones! But, seriously, cemeteries are always most fastinating. So full of history and so many thoughts that come to mind.
I enjoyed the imagees from Ground Zero, too. I don't get to stop by on a daily basis but do stop by about once or twice a week - and I always enjoy your blog very much.
Wonderful shot. I miss seeing graveyards like this. Our graveyards are at the most 160 years old unless you go to a Spanish mission. The most interesting are usually in old mining towns. We don't see headstones like this. Very much like ones I remember in Britain.
One last graveyard shot from St Paul's, I love how the two on the right are bowing. And you're right Robert, they do look like cartoon ghosts.
