St Paul's is the church that was famous after 9/11 for being open 24-7 for the recovery workers who risked their lives what became known as the pile. A lot of them slept in the pews, and left many trinkets and mementos behind that made up a moving display of their sad world.

  1. It never occurred to me before that these tombstones and cartoon ghosts have the same shapes. Not a coincidence, I guess.
